Suicide

Tonight I have made the final resolve ----
Before every nightfall I used to
Lick the wall weak with the tip of my tongue
But by morning it would rise strong again;
When I used to turn back towards my home
I would find darkness dejected, defeated
With a hung face, wandering aimlessly, mournful
I would reach home feeling let down by humanity
My final resolve is that I
should leap from the seventh floor tonight!

Tonight I found life without its mask;
Since long I had frequented
a charming and sweet-talking lover
But beneath her bed
tonight I found blood
Fresh and radiant blood
Scent of wine entangled with the scent of blood
She hasn't returned to her bedchamber yet
but I have already made my final resolve!
I feel an urge to take a bold plunge
From the balcony
that looks over the wall from the seventh floor!

Before every nightfall I used to
Lick the wall weak with the tip of my tongue
But by morning it would rise strong again
Tonight at last it will embrace the ground forever!

(Beyond the sight)
